This delicious iced peach tea tastes eerily similar to a famous Italian chain restaurants version Serve over ice and garnish with peach slices if desired

Homemade Peach Tea

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Make syrup: Mix together water
  • sugar
  • and peach slices in a small pot; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer
  • crushing peach slices as you stir
  • until sugar is dissolved
  • about 5 minutes. Remove from heat
  • cover
  • and allow peaches to infuse syrup
  • about 30 minutes. Strain to remove peach slices. Make tea: Bring water to a boil in a medium pot. Remove from heat and add tea bags; cover and steep for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags from the pot and pour in syrup. Cool to room temperature
  • then refrigerate until ready to serve.
